The Process Of Structural Foam Molding

Structural foam molding is a process of making plastics capable of withstanding a lot of pressure. This is done by low pressure process. It is used in manufacture of plastics such as high density polythene for instance; in an environment with low pressure. Rather than use high pressure to force the molten plastic to fill up the the mold, this process relies on the foaming action caused by a gas distributed within the plastic melt to help it to flow.

The absence of high pressure during this proc
