Minimising 911 Abuse From Elderly People Is Not Too Hard

Calling 911 is an emergency response which has been hard-wired into the minds of many Americans, and rightly so. There have been increasing numbers of 911 abuse though in recent years, with the system being clogged up with calls from people who do not really require emergency services. The issue is often one of loneliness of genuine vulnerability, especially in the elderly, rather than any deliberate attempt to cause disruption.
