Everything has turned out very well except for raspberries which took forever to dry and were too tart to eat as snacks. Machine is well made. The ability to make jerky was a bonus for me. I ordered another brand that I thought was going to do the job, but once it arrived I found the construction to be subpar and it was passive, requiring rotation of the trays.
The only note I can think to make: I read reviews saying that it ran higher than the temp. The variable temperature gauge is a handy
