Bringing a new cat home can be just like bringing home a new baby. Things are going to change. Just as you would need to baby-proof a house, you'll need to take care of a few things before your home is ready to say hello to your new friend.
Right off the bat, prepare ahead by shopping for cat supplies prior to the new pet's arrival. You will absolutely need kitty litter and a good litter box. Your feline will also want her own bowls for food and water, some toys to play with, and a warm bed.
