The perfect Toad in the Hole

In some parts of the North east of England, especially Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland, the pudding is served first - before the main course. In some areas, the whole meal is served inside a large plate sized pudding and forms an integral part of the meal.

Mnay people like to serve Yorkshire pudding as a side dish to roast meats but equally popular is Toad in the hole, which is sausages or other pices of leftover meat baked in the batter. The recipes is just the same with milk, flour, eg
